New Hardee's Commercial- Bad Taste?

Fast food chain Hardee's has a way of creating controversey (and media coverage) with their racey TV commercials. Their newest one is no different. Apparently one of their large franchisees is refusing to run the ad, saying it's too offensive.

While I could never eat the biscuit holes, I do think the commercial is funny. Is it too much for TV? What do you think?

  1. im a little jaded so don't take my opinion as very important but, i find genocide and starvation in third world nations a tad more upsetting than this. if i had kids watching tv, i might feel differently though.

  2. I think it's pretty clever...and just kinda silly, at the same time...hehe
It's interesting that companies make such a big deal out of things like this!

  3. I thought it was funny, and honestly who cares if little kids see this? As if they're tearing themselves away from video games where they're ripping out guts and shooting old ladies long enough to see it.

And its a clever campaign, equating donut holes with A-holes...it might stick with some people. It might backfire though by having the effect of preventing them from ordering donut holes at Dunkin Donuts rather promoting the purchase of b-holes at Hardees.

Mmmmmm....fried high GI carbs topped with even higher GI powdered carbs. You need them as much as you need a 'hole' in the head!
